Essential Job Duties

  • Identify and research potential new customers daily

Inventory Control Clerk (Sacramento) NEW

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for supporting our Inventory Department with managing our Equipment, Parts and Supply Inventory. While performing day-to-day, routine tasks, Employee may assist in a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, purchasing, stocking and unloading trucks.

Essential Functions:

  • Physically Review & Sign for all non-freight deliveries/back-up for freight checking in.
  • Receive all items into company utilized software. (EAutomate)
  • Print and apply all barcodes to then place items in the appropriate locations.
  • Take out trash and cardboard daily as needed.
  • First contact for all Technician/Shop part requests and inventory transfers.
  • Complete credits for returned items from Technicians and branch locations.
  • Create and track RTV orders.
  • Monitor and communicate low stock items.
  • Assist with stocking Supplies and Parts.
  • Conduct cycle counts quarterly or as needed.
  • Assist with regular audits and cleanup projects within the company software.
  • Create Purchase Orders.

Dispatch | Customer Service - (Napa)

Smile Business Products is looking to fill a Dispatch |Customer Service position to join our team.  As [part of our Dispatch Team you will be responsible for the following:

Job Summary:

Answer incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate destination. Assist customers by listening to and relaying copier, connectivity, network and/or phone related issues to a service technician. Place service calls and supply orders into operating system.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide impeccable customer service via phone and e-mail
  2. Answer incoming (high volume) phones calls and transfer to appropriate destination
  3. Process incoming service calls and troubleshoot with customer when possible
  4. Process incoming supply requests and obtain meter readings from the customer
  5. Inform customers of pricing (service, parts and supplies), response times, procedures, etc.
  6. Act as a liaison between customer and service technician
  7. Verify copier technician paperwork for accuracy
  8. Invoice chargeable service calls and supply orders
  9. Process service repair quotes and provide to sales rep and/or customer
  10. Scanning/ Indexing/ Filing in automated document management program
  11. Other duties assigned

These duties may also be required:

  1. Process incoming fax requests for service and supplies
  2. Credit and/or correct service calls and supply orders
  3. Follow-up on sub-contractor service calls and supply orders

Essential Functions:

  • Manages day-to-day sales activities that facilitate Sales Business Plan achievement for revenue. Develop the required sales activities, strategies, processes, and staffing to achieve annual and monthly revenue goals. Report the Sales Team performance to the VP of Sales.
  • Clearly communicate expectations for each Sales Representative and hold them accountable for meeting those expectations.

Smile Business Products is looking for Account Managers throughout Northern California.  This position is responsible for achieving sales quotas by driving sales revenue and market share in new or existing accounts.  Responsible for planning and organizing daily work schedule.  Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports.  Works with clients to evaluate, identify and understand their account needs and recommends changes in products and services.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to effectively prospect for net new business.
  • Ability to build and develop a loyal customer base.
  • Follow up on new leads resulting from field activity.
  • Organizing sales visits to new or existing accounts.
  • Prepares presentations, demonstrations, proposals and sales contracts to new or existing accounts.

Systems Administrator- (Sacramento)

Smile Business Products is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Maintain, and upgrade Microsoft Windows server operating systems and applications and other systems, as appropriate. Recognize and troubleshoot problems with server hardware and applications software for customers of Smile.
  • Install and configure Microsoft Windows server operating systems and applications and other systems, as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain documentation of customer environments utilizing company provided tools.
  • Maintain customer’s inventory of technological devices and document appropriately.
  • Work with outside vendors, as needed.
  • Maintain backup systems for customers.
  • Work on projects to establish, stabilize, and maintain network service for customers.
  • May lead some targeted training efforts for the team.
  • Recommend software and hardware enhancements for any changes or upgrades to customers environment.
  • Diagnose and correct computer system issues and appropriately document and close linked call in a timely manner within the companies ERP software.
  • Flexibility to coordinate with other schedules and may require work outside of normal business hours.
  • Complete escalated calls, as assigned
  • May require travel to customer location(s) to provide field support.
  • Other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in IT with MIS experience and/or a minimum of 8 years serving a high-level capacity of client network services (or equivalent).MCSA in the Server practice strongly preferred.
  • MCSA in Virtualization, O365, or SQL strongly preferred.
  • Advanced understanding and experience with Microsoft Exchange (2013, 2016, O365), Microsoft Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019), Microsoft Windows OS (7, 8, 10), and Network Management and Administration in the SMB market.
  • Advanced understanding of HyperV and/or VMware.
  • Strong understanding of external internet service providers (i.e.: telephone and internet providers)
  • Advanced knowledge of anti-virus software, firewalls, intrusion detection systems and other network security measures.
  • Strong level of knowledge and experience with the maintenance and recovery of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
